At least 100 Israelis have been arrested for social media posts supporting Palestinians in Gaza and 70 remain in detention, according to a legal advocacy group in the country. Adalah, which represents Arab Israelis in human rights cases, said the arrests are part of an unprecedented crackdown on freedom of expression in Israel.
“We’re seeing things we didn’t see before,” Adi Mansour, an attorney in Adalah’s civil rights unit, said in an interview. “There’s a change in the perception of what is allowed and what is prevented.”

Israel Police posted a video to its Arabic TikTok account Tuesday in which the police commissioner said that he would not allow demonstrations in support of Palestinians.
“Anyone who wishes to show solidarity and support Gaza is invited to board the buses heading there now,” Yaakov Shabtai, the commissioner, said, according to the video’s caption.

This boy and his family are staying at a hospital in Gaza because they’ve been displaced. He wants to become a journalist. Every day he’s been bringing tea for journalists working nearby. When asked why he says “because you guys get tired”

Basically everyone north of the red line has 24 hours to leave. Insanity.
1. There is no way over 1M people can evacuate in less than 24 hours (esp as bombs continue to fall; no food, water, electricity; buildings are rubble)
2. As noted, could indicate ground invasion
3. A 24hr heads up is a cover for further atrocities the IDF inevitably will commit.
The busiest freeway in the US, which does not have to deal with pieces of it being bombed to uselessness or buried in rubble, moves at most a third of that a day. That’s counting both ways, 12 lanes, and it is also notoriously congested. You would be extremely hard-pressed to evacuate a million people in 24 hours on such a freeway.
Gaza cannot possibly manage that with a single 4-lane highway.
